About my birthday next Saturday (June second). It’s been a custom for as long as I remember that my relatives visit on the evening of my and my family’s birthdays for drinks and snacks and cake. So everyone is expected to come over next Saturday evening. But my grandparents suddenly want to come over Saturday afternoon! At that time my mum and I will be busy preparing the cake and snacks! I have to work tomorrow and mum and dad are away on holiday and won’t be back before Friday evening, so we can’t even prepare in advance. Also, I dread the prospect of having to spend the afternoon with just my grandparents. They know nothing about my way of life and interests and couldn’t even care less about it. They only talk about themselves and go out of their way to let me know I am not special and everything I get from them is also given to their other grandchildren. Also, I’m not good with being around groups of people I don’t have much in common with. I’m an archtype Introvert! And now I have to endure two social events in one day. Urgh! I love my grandparents, but why do they have to make hanging out with them so much more complicated?!

I mean, it doesn’t necessarily have to be about Harry, it could take place in the same world. Terry Pratchett wrote lots of books that took place in the same world. Maybe Harry Potter’s story is over but there are so many others that could be told.

What do you do when you work full-time, but have almost no monthly expenses? You save your money for a rainy day, yes. But for me it is also the perfect opportunity to buy myself an expensive, but durable genuine leather bag. I picked a yellow Backpack Batchel from the Cambridge Satchel Company. And it arrived today! It’s an amber shade of yellow. Isn’t it awesome?

I just got Draw Something on my phone. (Yes, late to the party) I can’t draw, but if you want to see me struggle… I’m sannechan. Reply with your username or create a game for me please?
I want to start losing weight (or at least stop gaining weight) by cutting down on snacks and being more aware of what I put in my mouth. Unfortunately, my snack hands kind of have a mind of their own. Aka: I easily forget to not snack while scouring the kitchen for noms and/or stuffing snacks in my mouth. That’s why I want to put something on my hands to remind me, but I can’t think of anything that won’t trigger awkward questions from everybody else that sees it. I don’t want people to know/I don’t want to talk about it with others, because it’s an embarrassing subject for me and if they don’t know, they won’t know if I fail either. I especially don’t want my mum to know, because she’s been nagging about my weight ever since I was 15 years old and weighed 50 kg. So, any ideas?
I’m also looking for some easy healthy, light but filling, salty dishes to eat for, for example, breakfast. My salt tooth is much bigger than my sweet tooth.
